Camp Cornerstone Kitchen Crews
When: Monday - Friday, June 10 - 14
Breakfast at 7:30am-9:30am OR Lunch at 11am-1pm
Where: 5905 Brecksville Road, Independence, OH 44131
What: Cornerstone of Hope offers a week-long, free day camp every June to children ages 6-12 who have experienced the death of someone close to them. Campers participate in age-appropriate activities led by trained professionals and also have the opportunity to play high-energy games, go on field trips, and experience challenging activities. Best of all, they learn they are not alone in their grief experiences.
Cornerstone is looking for small groups of 2-4 volunteers willing to come in during their camp to prepare, serve, and clean up from breakfast or lunch for them: just ONE meal on ONE day. Menus, ingredients, kitchen, and kids provided – no planning on your part, just come and serve!
